Founded in 2012, a launcher development program began in 2015. The company has invested in their own private spaceport in Queensland, Australia. Both the launcher and the spaceport are national firsts for Australia. The Block 1 of the Eris launcher is small (supporting only 300kg to Low Earth Orbit), but the company does has plans for an upgraded launcher to support additional payload capacity. The company is producing its own engines, with hot-fire testing having occurred since 2018; it also has a satellite bus as another line of business.
